Update 7.1.: The email issue was resolved on Tuesday, January 6, and Moodle emails should now be delivered without delays. At the moment, it is uncertain whether all emails sent by Moodle on Monday were successfully delivered.
Update from our Moodle service provider 5.1. at 14:17:
"We have identified an issue with our email provider’s SMTP server, which is most likely causing the disruptions. The issue is currently under investigation and will be resolved as quickly as possible. Once the issue is fixed, all queued messages will be delivered automatically."
There is a significant delay, up to several hours, in notification and other emails sent by Moodle today, Monday 5 January. The issue has been reported to our Moodle service provider, but there is no information yet on the expected resolution time.
You can view the same notifications without delay in Moodle’s web interface by logging in and opening the notifications menu from the top right corner (bell icon). The same notifications are also available in the Moodle mobile app, provided you have not modified the notification settings in your Moodle user profile.
