The Scheduler activity will be completely removed from TUNI Moodle at the beginning of February 2026. Adding new Scheduler activities is already disabled. Existing Scheduler activities will remain functional until the end of January 2026.
Why is scheduler being removed?
Scheduler is a third-party plugin developed for Moodle. It has not been updated for over a year, and the main developer has discontinued further development and maintenance. As a result, its compatibility with future Moodle versions cannot be guaranteed.
What should you use instead?
To manage bookings for office hours, lab sessions, and other time slots, please use the Organizer activity, which is available in TUNI Moodle. Organizer allows students to book time slots defined by the teacher, either individually or as a group.
