This course is an
introduction to the interdisciplinary approach of applied theatre combined
with conflict theories and practices; how
drama and theatre can be used to promote conflict transformation, peacebuilding
and reconciliation, and also how it can be an effective tool in activists’
hands.
We will use different techniques of devising theatre – by using images, sounds, body language, words.
We will discover the potential application of theatre in different settings such as education field, activism, conflict transformation, intercultural and social mediation.
In order to complete this course, students are expected to
- attend
the all course
- actively aprticipate in the lessons, with comments, questions, contributions
- accomplish the tasks (reading and writing tasks)
- do the final
exercise
In case of absence, the student will compensate with a writing task (1200 characters, about 2-3 pages). The deadline for the writing task is 6.3.2020.
