The ‘Start to Finnish’ course is moderated and designed by Akava, the Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland, in co-operation with universities and universities of applied sciences across the country.
The course was developed especially for international degree students, but Finnish students or PhD candidates are also welcome to take the course.
The aim of this course is to give you a comprehensive picture of Finnish working life by diving into:
- practicalities and cultural aspects of Finnish working life
- legal and regulatory aspects
- how and why Finnish life works as it does
