In this text seminar participants get acquainted with recent work in social ontology; including critical social ontology and social theory as well as so called collective intentionality -approach. The aim is to get to know recently published work and unpublished manuscript texts. The topics may include power, social structures, hierarchies, oppression. It is aimed at advanced masters students and doctoral students. The texts will be available either from the library or moodle. Online participation is possible. Depending on the interests of the participants, we can still decide which texts to read. Different texts may have different emphasis.
Not everyone reads the whole text in the book meetings; over the course, the amount of reading is around 4OO pages for 5 credits; and around 2OO pages for 3 credits.

18. Sep Reading: Manuscript discussion on Realism in Social Ontology, manuscript distributed 11 Sep. Really brief presentations by participants, who take the course for credits. Half a page summary of a section.
25. Sep Lecture on critical social theory: Can affluence be a social pathology, like poverty? What about economic compulsion for all?/ AL. Participants: Discussion, no preparation.
