After completing this course the student has the required theoretical knowledge to 

  1. select appropriate development processes and development methodology to a given SW development endeavor and context 
  2. take different managerial responsibilities in software projects. 
The following topics will be covered during the course: 
  • Understand the heritage and practice of SW process and life-cycle models;  
  • Practical knowledge about Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban 
  • Theoretical aspects of project, process and product management;  
  • Addressing the viewpoints of the project team, the users and the customers as well as other stakeholders
  • Software quality from the viewpoint of the process and the product
  • Effort estimation and other relevant SW production metrics
