The course gives basic understanding of methods on dynamic analysis, control, and modeling of power-electronics systems. After the course, the student is able to:

  • Define dynamic models of power-electronics systems
  • Understand the differences between time- and frequency-domain analysis
  • Perform simple control design of power-electronics converters
  • Apply basic identification to power-electronics systems
  • Understand the dynamics of multi-converter power-electronics systems
