This course is carried out as an online lecture and learning class, and all the course materials are readily available on the course’s Moodle page. The course is intended for both MA and PhD level students at Tampere university. This is largely an independent study course, where students can progress at their own pace, however, a suggested schedule is outlined on Moodle. This online lecture course provides comprehensive social scientific perspectives on consumption. The topics of consumption are discussed and examined through the fields of economic sociology, sociology, and social psychology.
